The purpose of establishing this Working Group is to bring together wireless local area network (WLAN) experts from the healthcare industry, identify WLAN deployment scenarios and network architectures in the healthcare sector, promote the standardization of deployment solutions for typical healthcare scenarios, and support the optimization and innovation of WLAN technologies for healthcare applications.

This Working Group shall hold regular meetings to discuss topics related to WLAN scenarios, deployment and technologies in the healthcare industry, including but not limited to:

Typical WLAN deployment scenarios in the healthcare industry, covering typical service requirements, network architectures, and relevant network deployment environment details such as services and deployment environments in hospital wards.

WLAN deployment solutions, technical requirements and test methods for the healthcare industry.

And other relevant research on high-quality WLAN for the healthcare industry.
