On the afternoon of July 18, the first general meeting of the WLAN Application Alliance (WAA) was successfully held in Beijing. According to reports, the WLAN Application Alliance (WAA) was established in Shenzhen, China, by the world's wireless local area network field, including technology providers, manufacturers, system integrators, enterprise users, research institutes, and professional institutions, and other voluntary composition, is an international, non-profit, industrial social group that focuses on promoting the development of wireless local area network industry. WAA is committed to building an open, international, and influential WLAN industry development platform, and joining hands with global industry chain partners to jointly build an international WLAN performance experience certification brand.

The conference reviewed and passed WAA’s charter and other bills, and the Council members elected by all members held the first meeting of the first council and elected the first WAA Chairman Ping Zhang, Vice Chairman Hao Hu, Shujia Mei, Yin Fein (Germany), and Secretary-General Tao Yang.

 

 

Social Organization Administration of Ministry of Civil Affairs, PRC, Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs, Shenzhen Futian District People's Government and Institute of Computing Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and more than 50 representatives of WAA global members were invited to attend the meeting.

 

 

 

Up to now, institutions, organizations, and enterprises from 11 countries and regions have joined and become initial members of WAA.

 

The conference was organized by the preparatory working group of the WLAN Application Alliance (WAA) and hosted by Shenzhen Open Source Technical Service Center.

 

During the preparation and implementation of the Congress, it has received the attention of all sectors of society.
